Radiesthesia represents the phenomenon by which a living system receives extrasensory (outside the sense organs) from the energetic and informational ocean a certain inforenergetic signal of interest, unknown, previously sought, and in the case of discovery, reacts in a predetermined way by the radiesthesia operator through a particular physical sensation or movement or through specific affective-emotional states. Through these sensations or movements, one's own reason takes note of the existence or non-existence of the sought signal and certain characteristics of the signal generator.

The history of radiesthesia, of this capacity for extrasensory perception of messages coming from the informational and energetic universe, has been and continues to be a subject of interest for specialists in this field, both from the country and abroad.

The oldest material evidence of the existence and application of radiesthesia dates back to around 3000 B.C. from the region of China, where carved stones were found depicting various characters conducting radiesthetic investigations with different rods.

In Romania, in the field of radiesthesia, there have been concerns since ancient times for discovering water sources - through the traditional activity of well diggers. Additionally, approximately 50% of the oil and gold deposits (between 1935 and 1940) were found through radiesthetic procedures by engineer Simu Simeon, who dealt with the positioning and determination of oil deposits in the Prahova Valley. He can be considered the father of radiesthesia in Romania, publishing the first radiesthesia manual in 1940, which specifies different investigation methods.

Despite the significant obstacles placed in Romania during the communist period on such activities, there were still major concerns in the field of radiesthesia, with results that make us proud. Under these conditions, after a life dedicated to in-depth research on radiesthesia and related phenomena, later extrapolating the consequences of this research in multiple directions, Navy Commander Claudian Dumitriu completed a complex, original theoretical apparatus, as well as a portfolio of inforenergetic techniques for correcting existing deficiencies and their causes.

The result of his observations and experiments led to the development of a new science at the frontiers of knowledge: INFORENERGETICS.
